As we look to care for the whole person we believe it is important to create opportunities for people to worship God and grow together. Jesus taught his followers about everyday life when they met; things such as financial stewardship, divorce, loving ones neighbor, genuine religion, and a host of other topics.
We gather on Sunday evenings so that we can take time to pause in our week, acknowledge God as a community, be encouraged in our life journey, and grow together in to all that God has purposed for our lives.
Current Series
Currently we are doing a series on the basic principles of the Christian faith in order to help those who want to grow in their faith to have a solid foundation. We will be considering such topics as why the Bible is so important, who is Jesus, prayer, our role in the church, and why the church exists. This series will take us into the fall so stop by and find out about the other topics to be discussed.
Times & Days
Currently we meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30
Service Structure
We would like to say that we are a blend between your traditional church service and a small group gathering. We have a time of worship that last for about 25 minutes and includes our children. At the conclusion of worship we send our children off to their classrooms for age appropriate teaching (toddlers, K - 3rd grade, 4th grade - 8th grade). For the remainder of the time we gather around a topic and passage of scripture to grow and learn from one another. Pastor Scott will lead the time sharing on the topic and passage, invites dialogue, and from time to time breaks those in attendance into smaller groups for intimate dialogue.
On the fourth Sunday of the month we break from this structure and spend the first hour of our time together worshiping God, praying together, and sharing in The Lord's Supper. Our children enter their respective classrooms during this hour and we spend the remainder of the evening (7:00-7:30) in a free community time where people can dialogue and talk with one another.
