The 2011 Family Fest was another great success!!

With more than a 1000 people making there way through the event and more than a 120 kids making and racing their pinewood derby cars there was a lot of laughter and smiling faces to go around.  A friend of the center met a client in the neighborhood a few days after the Fest and she later told us that the client went on and on about this wonderful event she attended in the community - Family Fest. 

We are excited that it went so well and we will be hosting another Family Fest next year.  We found the block party atmosphere was very well received by our neighbors in the community and will be our venue for next years Fest.  This Family Fest cost a little more and requires a lot more volunteers, but it was a day not many will soon forget.  If you have an interest in supporting next years event through giving, volunteerism, or prayer be sure to drop us a note at info@familyempower.org.
