As part of our tutoring and youth development focus, we offer the S.A.Y. Yes! After School Program, which is designed specifically to meet the unique needs of at-risk, urban youth. S.A.Y. Yes! Centers for Youth Development are a nationally recognized program developed through Here’s Life Inner City an arm of Campus Crusade which focuses on urban community development.

As a certified S.A.Y. Yes! Center for Youth Development, we provide programming that addresses the whole person, including: tutoring and academic help, recreational opportunities, life-skills training, computer use, and snack time. This program allows parents to work and/or pursue personal life enrichment opportunities knowing that their children are safe and well cared for. Through the S.A.Y. Yes! program we serve 25-35 students a semester. More than 95% of the students come from low-income homes and receive scholarships to participate.

Times & Days

Currently we operate a 3 day a week after school program. The dates and times is as follows:

Tuesday 3:00-5:45pm
Wednesday 3:00-5:45pm
Thursday 3:00-5:45pm

Program Design

Our S.A.Y. Yes program is geared toward the wholistic development of the children that participate in the program and we therefore offer more than homework help. We have the children participate in an hour of physical activity, homework and tutoring, computer time, life skills training and spiritual instruction.

Fees and Materials

There is a $25 a month fee to be in the program however due to the low income status of our children more than 95% of them receive scholarships and attend for free.
